OCTOBER, 2023

The Gloversville Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners met at its Annual Meeting that was held at the Gloversville Housing Authority, 141 West Street on October 17, 2023 at 2:00p.m.

Board Members Present:

  • Ellen Anadio, Commissioner
  • Gail Peters, Commissioner
  • Ronald Holly, Commissioner
  • Sherry Courtney, Resident Commission

Others Present:

  • Anthony Casale, Authority Legal Counsel
  • Jason Mazur – Executive Director
  • Bryan Goldberger, Esq. – Authority Labor Counsel

Resolution #858 adopting the Operating Budget for the PHA fiscal year beginning October 1, 2023 was sponsored by Commissioner Holly and seconded by Commissioner Peters. There was no additional discussion and Resolution was adopted by a vote of 4-0 in favor.

Commissioner Anadio recited the Committee Assignments for the 2023/2024 fiscal year as follows and indicating that all were in agreement to the following committee assignments: Personnel Committee: Commissioners Anadio; Peters; Holly Finance Committee: Commissioners Anadio; Peters; Holly. Tenant Relations Committee: Commissioners Holly; Courtney; Shaw Executive Committee: Commissioners Anadio; Peters; Hawkins Buildings and Grounds Committee: Commissioners Courtney; Hawkins; Shaw

A motion was made by Commissioner Peters to go into Executive Session pursuant to Public Officers Law, Section 105(1)(f) regarding the medical, financial, credit or employment history of a particular person or corporation, or matters leading to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person or corporation said motion having been seconded by Commissioner Holly. The motion was carried by a vote of 4-0 in the affirmative. The executive session began at 2:05pm. …A motion was made to end the executive session at 2:41pm by Commissioner Peters and seconded by Commissioner Holly. The motion carried by a vote of 4-0 in the affirmative. The executive session ended at 2:41pm.

Public Session resumed.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Commissioner Anadio and seconded by Commissioner Peters. The motion carried by a vote of 4-0 in the affirmative. The meeting was adjourned at 2:42 p.m
